One dark night,
with silence so solid,
you could almost see,

I begged my god,
for my days to end.
For my being, to be no more...

But at the other end of silence,
It was nature listening to me,
in cold blood.

the stars,
the moon,
the night breeze,

moisture of a distant sea,
dust of a distant desert,
ashes of a distant fire...

a nesting bird,
a travelling herd,
a yawning lobster...

and I realized,
no wisdom will move a finger,
to grant my wish.

and suddenly I felt,
all alone,
and even worse,

I felt alive,
till the end,
of my days....
